Channing can run! And boy does he. He laughs and giggles...and runs away! Channing is independent and happy. He entertains himself most of the time. His favorite toys are a toy vacuum (now broken), the swiffer (now broken and glued together), and the dogs water bowl. Best toy ever is to dunk the swiffer into the water bowl and mop...the carpet. He also takes great joy in licking the windows and smearing! I scold him, he giggles, and repeats. The toilet is also great! I just fished out a sippy cup yesterday. Other recent swimmers: my phone a few times, his music box, and his lovee. So cute.
When he is really in trouble, he puts his head to the ground, bottom in the air. He hides his little face in shame for a few seconds. Precious.
Channing is also trying to learn to use utensils. He refuses to feed himself with utensils. Only me! Its actually cute, until I am stuffed and must continue to eat. He feeds me, giggles, and reloads his fork.
His speech is slow to start like Lyndie's. This coming doctors visit was a big one for Lyn at this age. This is where the pediatrician gave me paperwork to have Lyn tested for speech delay. Chansters is following in Lyndie's tracks saying only two words. I thought we had more words, but I was wrong. He is way more vocal than Lyn so we will see.
