Toilets and swiffers and vaccums

Channing is obsessed with the toilet.  He flushes the toilet at least once every 30 minutes.  No, he doesn't lift the lid and watch the water swirl.  He just flushes, laughs, and runs out of the bathroom.  I don't get it at all.  But, he is super entertaining.  Here is what he has been up to:

1) throwing things in the toilet.  Anything that fits will work.  More than once its been my phone.  The other times it has been his favorite music box or a wad of toilet paper.

2) tormenting Lyn.  If she does it, so does he.  We love our dance parties.  Around 5 pm, princess music is likely to break out on pandora.  Lyndie has to make several outfit changes depending on which princess song we are listening to.  Chan man twirls right along with us.  I think he does it to feel dizzy and fall over.  Its hilarious never the less.

3) Swiffering or dry mopping is the new craze.  I shorten our two swiffers for Lyn and Chan and watch em go!  Today I learned that the swiffer does absorb lots of water when dunked repeatedly in the dogs water bowl.  The only problem is that the water then goes all over the bathroom floor when you drag the swiffer around the room.  I usually empty the dogs water bowl during the day to prevent such occurrences. Today, he came to me with the bowl over his head like a hat.  Then I found that I forgot to empty the bowl today.  The bathroom was flooded again.

4) The Dyson vacuum is his new favorite pull and push toy.  He was enamored by this great (and loud) machine while Daddy was cleaning the rugs.  We gave him Lyn's old Elmo vacuum.  He insists on the full size Dyson and wants nothing of sesame street impostors.  He loves to open the broom closet door, pull out the vacuum, drag it around the house by the cord, and scream when it gets stuck.  So, for my birthday I bought him a mini size D
yson that really sucks up things!  Its for kids.  Now maybe he will leave mine alone!
