Lyndie calls the elevator an alligator. The entire trip we all said alligator instead of elevator after she insisted she was correct. Finally, the last day of the trip a woman overheard us talking about the alligator ride to the top and asked us where it was. We had to explain we thought the mix up in vocabulary was too cute to correct.
This video is taken the day after visiting the Salty Dog Cafe. Lyndie had never experienced live music. That entire night (during dinner) and the next day, she repeated the sweetest phrase. "He play music." To which we both answered "He does play music." We really just loved the sound of her little voice, so amazed at what she saw. The musician is someone we have come to expect at the Salty Dog. He is a sweet man who plays the piano or guitar. If its a weekend, he is there! What a nice job to have.
