I am only posting these as a memory for myself
I stumbled across a few Easter 2011 pics. There is not a single one of Lyndie but I, like my mom, love filling an Easter basket. So does Corey. We, separately, each went a little overboard. Lyndie was spoiled rotten. The Magna Doodle toy, BTW, is the best car toy ever. No mess, reusable, and always ready for action. I keep it in the back seat for her. She just scribbles, erases, and scribbles again! Best one year old gift ever. Just gave one away today to a friend's baby.

My camera was hijacked over our week in Folly Beach, SC. Its a good thing too because I failed to take a single pic! Thankful someone decided to capture a few cute moments with cousins (who look nothing alike).

Coffee with mommie and daddie
Who doesn't love a good cup of joe. Lyndie regularly imitates me, sipping and giving a big "ahh" afterwards. I guess I really had no idea how loud I drink...
The Battle of the Wills
This is what happens when you send Lyndie to pick out a bow for herself. And yup, she wore it to church. My number one saying is "pick your battles!"
Finger painting
This is a pic from Lyndie finger painting. I have since learned that she doesn't care if there is paper or not. Sometimes I just squirt some paint on her high chair and let her go to town. She shows great potential, following in her Nannie's foot steps. Probably should start saving for my little Picasso's art school.

Christmas pics

New car, thanks to Auntie Sarah Beth
We are now a three car family. The battery pack has to charge for 18 hours, so Lyndie is busy getting acquainted with the interior of her new vehicle. Sporty rims, hippie flowers, and a pink steering wheel are just a few of the features.

Christmas cards
Trying to save a little money (like last year), I attempted to take some holiday pics at home. I reallyhave a nice camera...thats not the problem. Taking pics of a toddler is a whole lot dfferent from pics of my sweet little baby of last Christmas. Just enjoy these few pics and know I was really tempted to print and mail them. I have decided to instead keep them for blackmail later when she is a teenager. Love you Lyndie!

Happy Halloween
Lydnie was a cute little hot pink pirate this year. She loved carrying her sword as a purse as well as her trick or treat bucket.
